Last week, TED Talks Daily Podcast posted a fantastic talk on the unintentional ways we sometimes invest through our IRAs and other investment accounts. Whether it’s in cigarettes, abortifacient drugs, pornography or other means of producing profits counter to our faith and convictions, it’s staggering to think about the companies we might accidentally own.
This talk reminds us that we’re owners in the companies we invest in, that we have a responsibility to do good with God’s money, and that the stakes are high as the lives of countless others are at risk.
